How to use Beway?
In the app, you’ll find two main modes: Explore Mode and Travel Mode.
In Explore Mode, you can discover places and landmarks shared by other users or by us. You can also search for friends, check out their stats and travel photos, and give them a follow.
In Travel Mode, you plan your trip: search for a destination, swipe through the landmarks you want to visit, and the app will create an efficient route within your trip for you. Then just start navigation and go — it’s that easy! You can edit your trip anytime by adding landmarks, restaurants, or cafés along the way.
Is the app really free?
Yes, downloading the app is completely free.
Explore Mode is also 100% free — you can browse places, landmarks, photos, and follow other users without paying anything.
Travel Mode is free too for planning your trips..
You only pay when you want to unlock your own trip or a trip created by another user. To start navigation with the most efficient route between landmarks, you need to unlock the trip.
You can buy credits in the app for this purpose. The number of credits needed depends on your level in our loyalty program. We tried to make the prices as friendly as we can because we love traveling just like you :). No monthly subscription — you buy credits once and use them whenever you need. And since you probably don’t travel every month, your credits will stay valid for up to 3 years!
I already have a travel app, why do I need Beway?
Easy to use.
Beway lets you share with others your experiences about landmarks and add interesting or educational info about places. No monthly subscriptions — you only pay when you want.
You don’t have to worry about missing any places when creating your trip. In the app, you’ll find not only the most popular spots, but also places that are less known or appreciated only by certain travelers. And anytime, you can add any place you want to your trip.
You can even see your own travel stats, which is pretty cool. Try Beway and see for yourself!
Do I need Wi-Fi to use the app?
Yes.
You’ll need Wi-Fi or mobile data to load places in both Explore and Travel modes. The app also uses your location for navigation.
When you're navigating a created and unlocked trip, you can turn off Wi-Fi or data if needed, since the routes are preloaded — but for the best experience, we recommend keeping Wi-Fi or mobile data on.
